Mrs. Sheila Archer
Mrs. Archer joined the fifth grade teaching team in 2012 and is so excited to be a part of Crossings Christian School!! Sheila taught sixth grade math for several years before staying at home with their children and is now thrilled to be back in the classroom!
She has a husband, John, and five fabulous children. Lauren is twenty years old and is a ballet dancer in New York City, Grace is 14, Caroline is 11, Will is 10, and Ella is 8. They keep her busy and very happy! She loves to read and spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite verse is Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”

Mrs. Kathleen Johnson
Kathleen began teaching CCS in 2006. Her classroom is always exciting, and her students cannot help but catch her enthusiasm as they learn. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Elementary Guidance and Counseling from OSU.
Ms. “J” has two children. Her son, Scott, his wife, Leia, and their sons, Will and Ben, live in Olympia, Washington where he is a pilot for the Air Force. Her daughter Katie, is living in Chicago and working on a graduate degree at Northwestern University.
Favorite Scripture verse: “Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” I John 4:7

Mrs. Margaret Purifoy
Margaret has been a teacher for 24 years with experience in third grade, sixth grade and eighth grade. Her favorite subject is Social Studies, especially U.S. History.
Her desire is to create a safe, caring environment where each student feels important and included. She believes students don’t care how much a teacher knows until they know how much a teacher cares.
Her hobbies include reading, biking and traveling. Her interests primarily revolve around her husband, three children, their spouses, and her eight grandchildren. They are blessed with a family that loves to get together.
Her favorite Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”
